Ms. Vivian Ann Wilson born March 5, 1941 in Mooresville, NC. Born to the late Sylvester Wilson (Stepfather), Seymour Carr and Mother Cornelia J. Wilson. She went to her heavenly home in the early morning of Thursday, June 27, 2024.
Affectionally known as “VI or Viv” She attended school in Mecklenburg County and retired from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. She was a caring Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Her loving care and support extended to the rest of the family.
She was always willing to help others in need by volunteering with food delivery and shuttling people to their dr. appointments. Enjoyed listening to Gospel music and would travel to different churches on Sundays to listen to their music. Through her adventures in life, she touched many people.Through Presbyterian Women and Lakewood/Lakeview Neighborhood Association.
She was preceded in the death by Sylvester Wilson (Stepfather), Seymour Carr, Mother Cornelia J. Wilson, and her Sister Katrina Shaheed.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her devoted Sons, Michael Wilson Charlotte, NC. Terry Wilson (Gina Wilson) Monroe, NC. Two Sisters; Betty Hall and Alicia Carr, God-Sister: Latra J. Reid (David), Three Grandchildren; Teneille, Alvin and Shamel, all of Charlotte, North Carolina, Thirteen Great-Grandchildren, one Aunt; Queen Ester James of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Caregiver; Audry Kerns and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
