Warren Lee Little was born on September 3, 1946, in Iredell County and he peacefully departed this life on February 4, 2026, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Virginia Little, and his brother, Frank Jr.
Warren was a graduate of Dunbar High School with the Class of 1964. He then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Livingstone College, graduating with the Class of 1968. Upon graduation, he became a school teacher until entering the U.S. Army. After separation from the Army, he was employed for over 20 years with the Department of Corrections in the District of Columbia. He was also a lifetime member of Watkins Chapel AME Zion Church.
On January 3, 1976, Warren married the love of his life, Alma Moon.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Moon Little of the home; two sisters, Georganna Minor of Richmond, Virginia, and Barbara Brown of Temple Hills, Maryland; brother-in-law, Larry Moon of Chesterfield, Virginia; sister-in-law, Pattie Colquiett of Shelby, North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.
