William Daryl Houston Sr.

        Mr. William “Daryl” Houston passed away at the age of 56 on June 11, 2018. William was born on June 7,1962 in Iredell County to the late William Andrew Houston and Priscilla Houston. He attended North Mecklenburg high school. He worked as a truck driver at SAIA in Charlotte, NC. He loved his job as a truck driver with SAIA. He was committed to his job. He always would help his coworkers with a laugh, kind words, and directions if they were lost or unsure of directions on their truck route. He was a jokester who loved to laugh, go fishing, and watch his Western/Country Shows. Most of all he loved his family, friends, and coworkers. One of the highlights of his life was his new marriage to “his baby”. The two were inseparable, and always having fun together. He loved sharing ice cream with her, he considered this their special time together. He loved “his baby” unconditionally.
